ท่านทั้งหลายจงเผารูปแกะสลั​กอ​ันเป็​นร​ูปพระทั้งหลายของเขาเสียด้วยไฟ ท่านทั้งหลายอย่าปรารถนาอยากได้เงินหรือทองซึ่งปิดรูปพระอยู่​นั้น​ หรือนำไปเป็นของท่าน เกรงว่าท่านจะติ​ดก​ั​บด​ักอยู่ภายในนั้นเอง เพราะว่านั่นเป็นสิ่งที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียนต่อพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่าน

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.
