Deuteronomio 7:22

Si Yahweh na inyong Diyos ay aalisin ang mga bansa sa harapan ninyo ng unti-unti. Hindi ninyo matatalo silang lahat ng mabilisan, o ang mga mabangis na mga hayop na lalong darami sa palibot ninyo.

And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.
