ద్వితీయోపదేశ కాండము 7:2

తరువాత, మీ యెహోవా దేవుడు యుద్ధంలో వారిపై మీకు విజయం అనుగ్రహించినప్పుడు మీరు వారిని చంపి పూర్తిగా నాశనం చేయాలి. వారితో ఒప్పందాలు చేసుకోకూడదు. వారిపై దయ చూపకూడదు.

And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
