5 Moseboken 7:6

För du är ett heligt folk inför Herren, din Gud (ett annorlunda folk som ska vara helgat, skilt från synd och avgudar). Han har utvalt dig att bli hans dyrbara egendomsfolk framför alla andra folk på jorden.

For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
