Och det ska ske eftersom ni lyssnar till dessa påbud (bindande juridiska beslut) och håller (vaktar, skyddar, bevarar) och gör dem, att Herren din Gud (Jahveh Elohim) ska hålla (vakta, skydda, bevara) förbundet med er och nåden (den omsorgsfulla kärleken) som han svor till era fäder.
