Femte Moseboken 7:9

Så ska du veta att endast Herren din Gud är Gud, den trofaste Guden som håller fast vid sitt förbund och sin nåd i tusen släktled när man älskar honom och håller hans bud.

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
