Deuteronomium 7:8

Maar, omdat de Here u liefhad en de eed hield, die Hij uw vaderen gezworen had, heeft de Here u met een sterke hand uitgeleid en u verlost uit het diensthuis, uit de macht van Farao, de koning van Egypte,

But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
