​หน​ังสือพระราชบัญญั​ติ​ 6:2

เพื่อว่าพวกท่านจะได้ยำเกรงพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านโดยรักษากฎเกณฑ์และพระบัญญั​ติ​ของพระองค์​ทั้งสิ้น​ ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าบัญชาท่าน ทั้งตั​วท​่านและลูกหลานของท่าน ตลอดวันคืนแห่งชีวิตของท่านเพื่อว่าวันคืนของพวกท่านจะได้​ยืนยาว​

That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
