DEUTERONOMIO 5:9

Non adorar quelle cose, e non servir loro; perciocchè io, il Signore Iddio tuo, sono un Dio geloso, che fo punizione dell'iniquità de' padri sopra i figliuoli, fino alla terza e alla quarta generazione, inverso quelli che m'odiano;

Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
