అతడు పారిపోడానికి మోషే తూర్పు దిక్కున, యొర్దాను ఇవతల మూడు పట్టణాలను ఎన్నిక చేశాడు. అలాటి వ్యక్తి ఎవరైనా ఉంటే అతడు పారిపోయి ఆ పట్టణాల్లో ప్రవేశించి జీవించవచ్చు.

That the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:
