Basi Yoshua mwana wa Nuni alijazwa roho ya hekima kwa sababu Mose alikuwa ameweka mikono yake juu yake. Kwa hiyo Waisraeli wakamsikiliza na wakafanya yale ambayo Bwana alikuwa amemwagiza Mose.
