Deuteronomium 33:29

Welzalig zijt gij, Israël; wie is aan u gelijk? Een volk, verlost door de Here, die het schild uwer hulp en het zwaard uwer hoogheid is. Daarom zullen uw vijanden veinzen u hulde te brengen, en gij zult op hun hoogten treden.

Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
