അവൻ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും കുറിച്ചു: ഞാൻ അവരെ കണ്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; സഹോദരന്മാരെ അവൻ ആദരിച്ചില്ല; സ്വന്തമക്കളെന്നോർത്തതുമില്ല. നിന്റെ വചനം അവർ പ്രമാണിച്ചു, നിന്റെ നിയമം കാത്തുകൊൾകയും ചെയ്തു.

Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
