પુનર્નિયમ 33:9

અને તેણે પોતાના પિતા વિષે તથા પોતાની માતા વિષે કહ્યું કે મેં તેઓને જોયાં નથી; અને તેણે પોતાના ભાઈઓને પણ સ્વીકાર્યાં નહિ. અને તેણે પોતાનાં સંતાનોને પણ ઓળખ્યાં નહિ; કેમ કે તેઓ તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે ચાલતા આવ્યા છે, અને તમારો કરાર તેઓ પાળે છે.

Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
