પુનર્નિયમ 32:42

જેઓને મારી નાખવામાં આવ્યા છે તે તથા કેદીઓના લોહીથી, શત્રુઓના આગેવાનોના માથાના લોહીથી, મારાં બાણોને લોહી પાઈને તૃપ્ત કરીશ, અને મારી તલવાર માંસ ખાશે.’

I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
