उन्होंने ऐसी वस्तु को जो परमेश्वर नहीं है मानकर, मुझ में जलन उत्पन्न की; और अपनी व्यर्थ वस्तुओं के द्वारा मुझे रिस दिलाई। इसलिए मैं भी उनके द्वारा जो मेरी प्रजा नहीं हैं उनके मन में जलन उत्पन्न करूँगा; और एक मूर्ख जाति के द्वारा उन्हें रिस दिलाऊँगा। (रोम. 11:11)

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
