Han gav Josua, Nuns son, ett uppdrag och sa: ”Var stark (fast, säker, tapper) och frimodig (ståndaktig, alert, modig) [Jos 1:6-9], för du ska föra Israels söner in i det land som jag med ed har lovat dem och jag ska vara med dig.” [Se vers 7].

And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
