För när jag har tagit dem in i landet som jag svor till deras fäder, det som flyter av mjölk och honung [2 Mos 3:8], och de har ätit sig mätta och blivit feta, och de då vänder sig till andra gudar och tjänar dem och föraktar mig och bryter mitt förbund,

For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
