உபாகமம் 30:20

யெகோவா உன் முற்பிதாக்களாகிய ஆபிரகாமுக்கும், ஈசாக்குக்கும், யாக்கோபுக்கும் கொடுப்பேன் என்று அவர்களுக்கு வாக்களித்துக் கொடுத்த தேசத்திலே குடியிருக்கும்படி, உன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவில் அன்புசெலுத்தி, அவருடைய சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவரைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வாயாக; அவரே உனக்கு வாழ்க்கையும், நீண்ட ஆயுளுமானவர்” என்றான்.

That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
