ฉะนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงใช้​ผู้​สื่อสารจากถิ่นทุ​รก​ันดารเคเดโมทไปเฝ้าสิโหนกษั​ตริ​ย์เมืองเฮชโบนนั้น ทูลถ้อยคำอันสันติ​ว่า​

¶ And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,
