เมื่​อก​่อนพวกโฮรี​ได้​​อยู่​​ที่​เสอีร์​ด้วย​ ​แต่​ลูกหลานเอซาวได้มาอยู่แทนเขา และได้ทำลายเขาเสียให้พ้นหน้า และได้อาศัยอยู่ในที่ของเขาเหมือนพวกอิสราเอลได้กระทำแก่เมืองที่พระเยโฮวาห์ประทานให้เขายึดครองนั้น
