వారు అనాకీయుల్లాగా పొడవైన వారు, బలవంతులైన గొప్ప ప్రజలు. అయితే యెహోవా అమ్మోనీయుల ఎదుట నుండి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టడం వలన అమ్మోనీయులు వారి దేశాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుని అక్కడ నివసించారు.
