તે લોક પણ અનાકીઓની જેમ બળવાન તથા કદાવર હતા. તેઓની સંખ્યા ઘણી હતી; પરંતુ યહોવાહે આમ્મોનીઓ આગળથી તેઓનો નાશ કર્યો અને તેઓ તેઓના વતનમાં દાખલ થઈને તેઓની જગ્યાએ વસ્યા.
