5 Moseboken 28:13

Och Herren (Jahveh) ska göra dig till huvud och inte till svans, och du ska vara över och inte under, om du lyssnar till Herrens (Jahvehs) din Guds (Elohims) befallningar (de tydliga budorden – hebr. mitzvot), som jag befaller (hebr. tsavah) dig idag så att du håller (vaktar, skyddar) och gör (handlar, agerar) efter dem.

And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
