Deuteronomium 28:67

Des morgens zult ge zeggen: “Ach, was het maar avond!” en des avonds: “Ach, was het maar morgen!” om de angst, die uw hart vervult en om het schouwspel, dat ge moet zien.

In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
