5 Moseboken 26:12

När du har fullbordat tiondegivandet och allt tionde av din avkastning i det tredje året, som är det år då du ska ge tionde, och har gett det till leviten, till främlingen, till de faderlösa och till änkan så att de kan äta inom dina portar [alla städer med murar] och bli tillfredsställda,

¶ When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
