ఒకడు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల్లోని తన సోదరుల్లో ఎవరినైనా బలాత్కారంగా ఎత్తుకుపోయి అతణ్ణి తన బానిసగా చేసుకున్నా, లేదా అమ్మివేసినా అతణ్ణి చంపివేయాలి. అలా చేస్తే ఆ చెడుతనాన్ని మీ మధ్యనుంచి రూపుమాపిన వారవుతారు.

¶ If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
