પુનર્નિયમ 24:4

ત્યારે તેનો પહેલો પતિ, જેણે તેને અગાઉ કાઢી મૂકી હતી, તે તેને અશુદ્ધ થયા પછી પોતાની પત્ની તરીકે ફરીથી ન લે; કેમ કે, યહોવાહની દૃષ્ટિમાં તે ઘૃણાસ્પદ છે. યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વર તને જે દેશ વારસા તરીકે આપનાર છે તે દેશને તું પાપનું કારણ ન બનાવ.

Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
