​อย่างไรก็ดี​พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านมิ​ได้​ฟังบาลาอัม ​แต่​พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงเปลี่ยนคำสาปแช่งให้เป็นคำอวยพรท่าน เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านทรงรักท่าน

Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
