પુનર્નિયમ 23:5

પરંતુ યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વરે બલામની વાત સાંભળી નહિ પણ યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વરે તમારે માટે શાપને બદલીને આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો. કારણ કે યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વર તમારા પર પ્રેમ રાખતા હતા.

Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
