உபாகமம் 22:17

நான் உன் மகளிடத்தில் கன்னித்தன்மையைக் காணவில்லையென்று அவள்மேல் குற்றம் சுமத்துகிறான்; என் மகளுடைய கன்னித்தன்மையின் அடையாளம் இங்கே இருக்கிறது என்று மூப்பர்களிடத்தில் சொல்வானாக; பின்பு பட்டணத்து மூப்பர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அந்த ஆடையை விரிக்கக்கடவர்கள்.

And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
