അവളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ച പുരുഷൻ യുവതിയുടെ അപ്പന്നു അമ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശു കൊടുക്കേണം; അവൾ അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയാകയും വേണം. അവൻ അവൾക്കു പോരായ്കവരുത്തിയല്ലോ; അവന്നു തന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലത്തൊരിക്കലും അവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകൂടാ.

Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
