உபாகமம் 21:17

வெறுக்கப்பட்டவளிடத்தில் பிறந்தவனை மூத்தமகனாக அங்கீகரித்து, தனக்கு உண்டான சொத்துக்களிலெல்லாம் இரண்டு பங்கை அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் தன் தகப்பனுடைய முதற்பெலன், மூத்தமகனின் உரிமை அவனுக்கே உரியது.

But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.
