അവന്റെ ശവം മരത്തിന്മേൽ രാത്രി മുഴുവനും ഇരിക്കരുതു; അന്നുതന്നേ അതു കുഴിച്ചിടേണം; തൂങ്ങിമരിച്ചവൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ശാപഗ്രസ്തൻ ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന ദേശം നീ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു.

His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
