ద్వితీయోపదేశ కాండము 20:5

సేనాధిపతులు ప్రజలతో ఇలా చెప్పాలి. ‘మీలో ఎవరైనా కొత్త ఇల్లు కట్టుకుని దాన్ని ప్రతిష్ట చేయకుండా ఉన్నాడా? యుద్ధంలో అతడు చనిపోతే వేరొకడు దాన్ని ప్రతిష్ట చేస్తాడు. కనుక అలాంటివాడు ఎవరైనా ఉంటే అతడు తన ఇంటికి తిరిగి వెళ్ళొచ్చు.

¶ And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
