ആവർത്തനപുസ്തകം 20:7

ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വിവാഹത്തിന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചു അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ പടയിൽ പട്ടുപോകയും മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ അവളെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകട്ടെ.

And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.
