เราทั้งหลายจะขึ้นไปที่ไหนเล่า พวกพี่น้องของเราได้ทำอกใจของเราให้ฝ่อท้อถอยไปโดยที่​ว่า​ “คนเหล่านั้นใหญ่กว่าและสูงกว่าพวกเราอีก เมืองเหล่านั้​นก​็​ใหญ่​​มี​กำแพงสูงเทียมฟ้า และยิ่งกว่านั้นเราได้​เห​็นพวกคนอานาคอยู่​ที่​นั่นด้วย”’

Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
