​แต่​ถ้าผู้ใดเกลียดชังเพื่อนบ้านของตน และซุ่มคอยดักเขาอยู่และได้ลอบตีเขาถึงแก่​ความตาย​ ​แล​้วชายผู้นั้​นก​็​หนี​​เข​้าไปในหัวเมืองเหล่านั้นเมืองใดเมืองหนึ่ง

¶ But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:
