om du håller alla hans befallningar (de tydliga budorden – hebr. mitzvot) så att du gör dem, som jag har befallt (hebr. tsavah) denna dag, att älska Herren (Jahveh) din Gud (Elohim) och alltid vandra på hans stigar, då ska du lägga till (addera) ytterligare tre städer vid sidan om (utöver) dessa tre städer,
