व्यवस्थाविवरण 19:4

और जो खूनी वहाँ भागकर अपने प्राण को बचाए, वह इस प्रकार का हो; अर्थात् वह किसी से बिना पहले बैर रखे या उसको बिना जाने बूझे मार डाला हो

¶ And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;
