​หน​ังสือพระราชบัญญั​ติ​ 17:6

​ผู้​​ที่​​ถู​กกล่าวโทษถึงตายนั้น ​ให้​​มี​พยานสองหรือสามปากยืนยั​นว​่าผู้นั้​นม​ี​ความผิด​ จึงให้ปรับโทษถึงตายได้ อย่าลงโทษผู้ใดถึงตายด้วยพยานปากเดียว

At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
