ద్వితీయోపదేశ కాండము 16:3

పస్కా పండగలో కాల్చినప్పుడు పొంగకుండా ఉన్న రొట్టెలను తినాలి. మీరు ఐగుప్తు దేశం నుండి త్వరత్వరగా వచ్చారు గదా. మీరు వచ్చిన రోజును మీ జీవితం అంతటిలో జ్ఞాపకం ఉంచుకునేలా పొంగని రొట్టెలు ఏడు రోజులపాటు తినాలి.

Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
