Deuteronomium 15:6

Wanneer de Here, uw God, u zegent, zoals Hij u beloofd heeft, dan zult gij aan vele volken lenen, maar zelf zult gij niet ter leen ontvangen; gij zult over vele volken heersen, maar over u zullen zij niet heersen.

For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
