Deuteronomium 15:11

Want de arme zal niet ophouden uit het midden des lands; daarom gebiede ik u, zeggende: Gij zult uw hand mildelijk opendoen aan uw broeder, aan uw bedrukten en aan uw armen in uw land.

For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
