પુનર્નિયમ 15:19

તમારાં ઘેટાંબકરાંના તથા અન્ય જાનવરના પ્રથમજનિત નર બચ્ચાંને તમારે યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વરને અર્પિત કરી દેવાં; પ્રથમજનિત એટલે કે વાછરડા પાસે કંઈ કામ ન કરાવ અને તારા ઘેટાંબકરાંના પ્રથમજનિત બચ્ચાંને તું ન કાતર.

¶ All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
