Om din bror, din mors son eller din son eller din dotter eller hustrun i din famn eller din vän som är som din egen själ (en själsfrände) förleder dig i hemlighet och säger: ”Låt oss gå och tjäna andra gudar” som du inte känner, varken du eller dina fäder,

¶ If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
