Och inget av det avskilda ska finnas (vara fastklistrat) vid din hand för att Herren (Jahveh) ska vända bort sin vredes häftighet och ge dig nåd (oändlig barmhärtighet – hebr. rachamim) och ha nåd (evigt förbarmande – hebr. rachamim) med dig och föröka dig som han har lovat (sjufalt svurit en ed till – hebr. shaba) dina fäder,

And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
