Om din bror, din mors son, eller din son eller dotter, eller hustrun i din famn eller din vän som står dig så nära som ditt eget liv, i hemlighet vill förleda dig och säger: ”Låt oss gå och tjäna andra gudar” som varken du eller dina fäder har känt

¶ If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
