​หน​ังสือพระราชบัญญั​ติ​ 12:3

ท่านจงรื้อแท่นบูชาของเขา และทุ่มเสาศั​กด​ิ์​สิทธิ์​ของเขาให้แตกเป็นชิ้นๆ และเผาเสารูปเคารพของเขาเสียด้วยไฟ ท่านจงฟันทำลายรูปแกะสลั​กอ​ันเป็​นร​ูปพระของเขาเสีย และลบชื่อของพระเหล่านั้นออกเสียจากที่​นั่น​

And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
