Deuteronomium 12:23

Alleen houdt vast, dat gij het bloed niet eet; want het bloed is de ziel; daarom zult gij de ziel met het vlees niet eten;

Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
